The Ashes 2023, 4th Test (Day-4): How Australia started off

The Aussies resumed from the last day’s 113/4 wherein they lost their first four crucial wickets which raised trouble for them as they are still trailing by 162 runs with only 6 wickets in hand, three being tail-enders. Now on, they required stable partnerships which could not only overcome the trail but also get a significant lead over the hosts. So, Labuschagne & Marsh took the charge and together added 103 runs to the total taking Australia to 211 runs before Labuschagne was shown the way to pavillion by Root when he delivered an extra bounced ball to the former who got a big inside edge resulting in a straight away catch to the wicket keeper.
