The rain showers on day-4 of England vs Australia’s fifth test of the Ashes 2023 halted the game post lunch, thereby making the match more exciting as Australia looks in a strong position by putting 135 runs on the scoreboard without any loss of wicket, making it difficult to predict whether the Aussies would be able to make it on the day-5. England started off from their previous day’s 389/9 with Broad & Anderson being the last batting pair. But soon it started raining which leads to halting of the match which was in the grip of the Aussies. The rain remained unstoppable through out the day due to which the day’s game was suspended. Both the Australian batters are expected to continue their magnificent knock as till now both have shown their firm determination towards winning this game by.
